I was set on buying the Lowrance Hook Reveal either 5" or 7". I am stuck on what maps I need for Molokai.
I basically fish and dive within a 1/4 mile from shore along the south shore of Molokai. I'd like a gps that will guide me when driving at night or in dirty water. I don't wan't to run over coral and want to be able to see the sand channels just by looking at the unit. Can someone help guide me? I don't need bells or whistles. Just want to know the depth, where I am and see fish. I would be happy to just to have my position on a Google earth shot of the reef.
I used a Lowrance LMS-527 and it worked fine but died. I need to replace it.
Oh, I use an 18' flatbottom boat and will secure the Transducer to transom.
